Stonefish is the third child and the youngest among the children of Mayor Duterte and lawyer Manases Carpio.

Two other children were named Mikhaila Maria and Mateo Lucas, nicknamed Shark and Stingray, respectively.

Some might have wonder with the unique nicknames of the kids it is because of the reflection of the mayor’s love for the sea.

Accordingly, Stonefish is the lone survivor among the triplet that the mayor is carrying after she, unfortunately, lost the two of them in September 2016 days after the Davao City bombing.

Special Assistant to the President Bong Go shares on Friday photos of the President together with Stonefish on Facebook with brief, “happy birthday marko digong,” as the caption.

People from the said social media platform then extended their birthday greetings to the presidential grandson.

In spite of the young age, there are those who are rooting for the child to be just like his grandfather and mother, public servants and are great leaders of the country.

One commenter even said, “Happy birthday and God bless you stonefish may you be a good child and be a blessing to your family and to the Philippines.”
