Why does Angelu de Leon want her daughters to carry her current partner’s last name?
ANGELU DE LEON – Actress Angelu de Leon revealed her side on her desire to change the last names of her two daughters and let them carry Wowie Rivera’s last name.
Angelu de Leon now has three children namely Nicole, Louise, and Rafa. Based on a report, her eldest daughter, Nicole, is currently 19 years old. She is the actress’ daughter with FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano actor Joko Diaz.
Louise, 16 years old, is Angelu’s daughter with businessman Jojo Manlongat. Both Nicole and Louise are carrying ‘de Leon’ as their last names.
Rafe, Angelu de Leon’s son with her husband Wowie Rivera, is currently five years old. He is carrying his father’s last name. Angelu also carries the Rivera now. Based on a recent report in Pep, the actress desires to change the last names of her two daughters.
In an interview with the source during the press conference of the GMA-7 television series The Stepdaughters, Angelu de Leon expressed that they want to change her daughters’ last name but they are still “weighing things” and there are other factors that need to be considered.
Nicole and Louise can legally be a Rivera if there mother’s current partner would adopt them as his children.
Based on the report, Angelu de Leon’s statement that they are weighing things has something to do with the background of Wowie Rivera. The explanation of the actress was kept off the record.
The 38-year-old actress prays for the solution regarding her husband’s adoption of her two daughters from her previous partners. According to her, they travel a lot as a family and her two daughters, referring to their passports, are ‘de Leon’.
Meanwhile, to avoid making Nicole and Louise feel that she is totally a Rivera, Angelu de Leon expressed that whenever she would sign other documents, she would always put “De Leon-Rivera”. She expressed that her daughters’ know about their situation.
