President Duterte Appoints Comedian Arnell Ignacio OWWA Deputy Executive Director V
President Rodrigo Roa Duterte has appointed the Filipino comedian Arnell Ignacio as the Deputy Executive Director V of OWWA.
Mr. Duterte has appointed another showbiz personality under his administration after appointing Mocha Uson as the assistant secretary of Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO).
Recently, the president assigned the Pinoy comedian Arnell Arevalo Ignacio as a Deputy Executive Director V at the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).
Aside from being a popular comedian, actor, game show host, and news anchor, Ignacio has been also known as one of the avid defender and supporter of President Duterte.
Malacañang Palace also showed the appointment papers of Ignacio but did not elaborate the qualifications of the comedian to earn the position.
Previously, Duterte has also tapped Ignacio to be the AVP for community relation and services department at the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation.
Meanwhile, the lawyer Jacinto Paras has been also appointed by President Duterte as undersecretary at the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
