TJ Manotoc shares struggle over depression and how he has survived it.

DEPRESSION – The television personality and news anchor TJ Manotoc shared his struggle and battle over depression and how he survived in a revealing video.

The battles of armors and sword might be hard as you kill others to save your life but the battle within oneself without anyone knowing it could be a lot harder.

In such cases, a person fights against himself to live without blood but has an open wound inside that’s so fragile that if triggered, it might be the end of one’s life.

And one of the hardest battles with yourself is depression.

Not anyone might have suffered this but anyone can be a victim of this.

One of those who unfortunately had a strike of it but has successfully survived is the Kapamilya journalist and news anchor TJ Manotoc.

According to a video which he shared on Facebook, it all started during the years when he was still a student where he pressured himself to be an academic achiever.

He had sleepless nights and it was dreadful according to his confession.

He fought and survived with the help of his mother and someone he named Max who has also struggled the same situation as his.

Thus, with everything that he has gone through he launched an advocacy.

“Some people might find the video too much, I don’t care, but I know that there will be one, two, three, or four kids that I can reach out to in the darkest times of the night, they might see the video, and that could give them hope, and give them the first step to find somebody, something that could help them. I’m not going to solve problems, but what I want to do is plant seeds of hope, because they’re seeing someone who made it through,” he said.
