Meanwhile, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) confirmed the hazardous eruption of Mount Mayon.
Phivolcs director Renato Solidum said that the lava from Mayon Volcano had started to flow after 3 stream-driven eruption blowing ash plumes into the air during the weekend indicated by the bright glow from the crater.
Solidum said that the warning level 3 has been raised along the path of the volcano indicating a tendency for a hazardous eruption.
The volcanology agency also said that the possible eruption might occur within weeks or even days.
“What we would like to see is if there would enough pressure that might propel and explode the magma coming out of the volcano,” Solidum said quoted by GMA.
The cl(–foul word(s) removed–) in Guinobatan East Central, Camalig East Central School, Anoling Elementary School, and Cabangan Elementary School have been canceled due to volcano eruptions.
