Closed Roads For Feast of the Black Nazarene 2018
Here is the list of closed roads to give way for the Feast of the Black Nazarene Procession 2018 on January 09, 2018 (Tuesday).
On Wednesday (January 03, 2018), the Manila Police District (MPD) Traffic Enforcement Unit has released the list of the road which would be used for the annual procession of the Black Nazarene.
The roads and streets included in the list released by MPD would be closed effective on Monday (January 08, 2018) as early as 9 pm in the evening.
The traffic officers explained that the routes would be temporarily close during the Traslacion 2018 and would be opened again after the procession.
The MPD also issued the list of the routes for the procession of the Black Nazarene, which would start in Quirino Grandstand, Rizal Park.
The police authorities also released the list of designated prayer stations during the annual event.
Over 19 million Filipino devotees are expected to attend the Feast of the Black Nazarene, which prompted Manila Police District Traffic Enforcement Unit to declare a suspension of cl(–foul word(s) removed–) and government works in the affected areas for the safety of everyone.
Here is the list of road closures:
- Katigbak Drive and South Drive – One lane accessible to Manila Hotel and H2O Hotel
- Stretch of McArthur, Jones and Quezon Bridge
- Taft Avenue from Ayala to three Bridges Quezon McArthur and Jones
- Both lanes of Quezon Boulevard from A Mendoza / Fugoso Street, Quezon Bridge
- Roxas Boulevard from Katigbak Drive to TM Kalaw Sreet
