What are the businesses that will become a hit in 2018?

ENTREPRENEUR – As the government continues to support more entrepreneurs, here are the businesses that will surely become a hit in 2018.

To further improve lives, more people are venturing into different businesses.

Entrepreneurship has become a vast hit this year.  A lot and more people have been investing and venturing at such field.

According to a report from the ABS-CBN News, among the top ventures this year and even next year is opening up a restaurant since the country’s tourism sector is growing.

“Government says, businesses that support tourism will be a hit in 2018. Among these, furnishing and handicrafts, since these products can be used as souvenirs for tourists or it could even be used as decorations in resorts, spas, or restaurants.”

Another type of business to get into next year is the production of processed foods like fruits, nuts, and fish.

Also, the handwoven items can be a hit as it could be used for bags and upholstery.

“Of course, ang titingnan muna natin dito ay ‘ano ba yung mga export prospects, ano ba yung mga potential na pwedeng i-export’ dahil kapag nakikita natin kung sino yung mga winners kung tawagin natin, what are our exports champions, kasama diyan ang processed foods,” indicated by Under Secretary Zenaida Maglaya of the Regional Operations Group of Department of Trade and Industry.

She further added, “Titingnan din natin ano ang pwede nating maitulong sa turismo.”

However, they still encourage their budding entrepreneurs to still venture into the market even if the business that they would like to put up is not among the hit in 2018.
