4Ps Requirements For Marawi Families Extended Until End Of 2018

The requirements needed by Marawi families to obtain the government’s Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) was extended until the end of 2018.

On Friday (December 15, 2017), the Department of Social Welfare and Development said that the requirement needed by the Marawi families to be qualified for 4Ps subsidies has been lifted until December next year.

DSWD officer-in-charge Undersecretary Emmanuel Leyco said that there are about 12, 000 families who are members of 4Ps and they were aiming to make sure that the subsidies will really go to the official recipients.

Leyco also announced that they will allow the families from Marawi to receive subsidies without requirements until December 2018.

“We have suspended the conditionalities that will allow them to receive even if they are not attending schools or not going to health clinics, or not even attending the family development sessions,” Leyco said quoted by GMA.
