VACC Claims 10-Year-Old Girl In Bataan Died Of Dengue After Vaccination

The Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC) was claiming that a 10-year-old girl in Bataan died of dengue after vaccination.

Previously, the Sanofi explained the negative effects of the anti-dengue vaccine “Dengvaxia” to the people who do not have prior infection has been the center of the health scare in the Philippines after over 733, 000 students have been vaccinated.

The anti-dengue vaccination program in the country has been suspended after the French drugmaker Sanofi Pasteur who manufactured Dengvaxia made the statement.Vaccination

 

Recently, VACC claims that Christine Mae de Guzman, a 10-year-old girl in Mariveles, Bataan died because of severe dengue six months after receiving the dengue vaccine.

VACC’s founding chairman Dante Jimenez said that the Sisiman Elementary School administered the vaccine to Christine Mae who had no prior dengue history last April 06, 2016, according to her parents.

The young girl died of disseminated intravascular coagulopathy in October 2016 because of severe dengue.

Jimenez said that the family of Christine Mae is now under the custody of VACC and would request to include them on government’s Witness Protection Program.

Meanwhile, the medical experts were monitoring a 10-year-old boy in the province of Cebu who have been also vaccinated with Dengvaxia and now suffering from dengue.
