Marquez’ Trainer, Nacho Beristain Reacts On Possible Pacquiao-McGregor Match
Nacho Beristain, the trainer of the Mexican boxer Juan Manuel Marquez has reacted on the possible Pacquaio-McGregor match.
Marquez’ trainer is trying to shoot down the possible match between the Filipino boxer Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and MMA fighter Conor McGregor even before it could take off.
Previously, the Pinoy boxing icon has stir conclusions from the social media users after calling out the UFC champion teasing him into a real boxing match next year.
However, Conor McGregor was not yet giving any comment or respond on the issue.
Ignacio “Nach” Beristain also explained that boxing is more serious than people think emphasizing that sport is not all about money.
“I would not lend myself to that type of thing. Boxing is more serious than people think. I think it’s the need to make money, but money is not everything in life,” said by Beristain quoted by Philstar.
The match between Conor McGregor and boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. was a fight that made a lot of money but looked dull to the experts.
Mayweather earned over $300 million, while $100 million goes to McGregor. If the Pacquiao-McGregor fight would even happen, both fighter could earn an amount of $100 million each.
