LEA SALONGA – The internationally renowned Broadway singer Lea Salonga calls out a famous coffee shop for having her name misspelled.
Starbucks is one those A-List coffee shops which was founded in Seattle, Washington in 1971.
Despite the quite expensive coffee, this shop as well assures the quality of their coffee products varied in a lot of tastes fit for their diverse and different kind of coffee drinkers.
This shop has already made thousands of chains all over the world.
And lately, the broadway singer Lea Salonga seemed to have ordered from this particular shop.
As much as every customer knew already, upon ordering, they were asked for their names for it to be written on their cups.
And Lea has called this out through a social media site for having her name misspelled.
Instead of “Lea”, what the crew has written is “Laiya” to which the singer indicated, “Let the misspelling begin!!! Starbucks talaga o!”

People of the social media community reacted to it as well.
Some has said that it was just a strategy of the business to get a free advertisement and some has said that probably the crew got confused because of her accent.
One commenter said, “This must not be in the Phils! How can anybody misspell your name back home.”
Another told, “This is exactly Starbucks want u to do! To post it on social media so that they become popular! It’s all about marketing! Love u miss.”
“It’s their marketing strategy daw. Bec just like this, you posted it on social media and mentioned Starbucks,” one netizen wrote.
