Costa Rica rocked by 6.5-magnitude earthquake.
COSTA RICA – A strong earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.5 has shaken the coast of Costa Rica but there were no tsunami threats.
According to a report from the site of the Eyewitness News, people rushed in panic as the said incident happened.
The U.S. Geological Survey says that the center of the quake was along the Costa Rica’s Pacific Coast about 10 miles southeast of Jaco and is about 60 miles southwest of the capital of San Jose.
It has a depth of about 12 miles.
As of press time, based on the source, there were no reported deaths or injuries.
