The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) announced on Thursday, November 9, 2017, that Tropical Depression Salome has slightly intensified as it crosses Ticao Pass.
In an advisory issued by the state weather bureau at exactly 11:00 a.m., it stated that Tropical Depression Salome was last spotted at 50 km South-Southwest of Juban, Sorsogon (12.6 °N, 123.8 °E),
Typhoon Paolo has maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kph and is forecast to move West Northwest at 25 kph

Metro Manila, Rizal, Bataan, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Albay, Sorsogon, Masbate including Ticao and Burias Islands, Romblon, Marinduque, Quezon, Laguna, Cavite, Batangas, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro.
Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, Samar, Leyte including Biliran.

Tropical Depression Salome is expected to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by Saturday morning (November 11, 2017).
