Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa will join the cast of Ang Panday starring and directed by Coco Martin featuring Mariel de Leon.
On the film’s Instagram page, it announced the participation of the beauty queen which also stars with Miss International 2017 candidate, Mariel de Leon.
Kylie Verzosa’s appearance on the action movie was also confirmed by Coco Martin’s manager Biboy Arboleda in a message he sent to Rappler via Facebook.
Kylie Verzosa and Mariel de Leon are currently in Japan.
Kylie will crown her next successor on the upcoming coronation night this coming November 14 while Mariel will venture to retain the Miss International title.
Ang Panday is based on the eponymous comic book character created by Carlo J. Caparas.
Other movies that you should watch out for this 2017 MMFF are the following: “The Revengers,” starring Vice Ganda, Daniel Padilla, and Pia Wurtzbach; “Almost is Not Enough” starring Jennylyn Mercado and Jericho Rosales; and “Love Traps #FamilyGoals” starring Vic Sotto and Dawn Zulueta.
The four remaining entries which will comprise the “Magic 8” will be announced on November 17, 2017.
