The internationally renowned beauty queens Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and Miss World 2013 Megan Young express their gladness for the success of the candidates in the field of the beauty pageant.
Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach has definitely become known to the world as she became a sensation because of her unique victory in the said prestigious beauty competition.
It was after the host has mistakenly called the candidate from another country to be the winner instead of Pia.
Meanwhile, Megan Young was crowned as Miss World 2013 held in Bali, Indonesia.
She is the first representative of the Philippine to win the said title.
Both of the above-stated beauty queens have started as actresses in the acting industry before entering the pageantry scheme.
And lately, in the competitions of Miss Earth 2017 and Miss Reina Hispanoamericana 2017, the countries bet for the respective contests has won the crown.
Thus, bringing another pride for the country in the field.
The contestant in Miss Earth 2017 is Karen Ibasco who snatched the crown among more than 80 contestants vying for the title and Winwyn Marquez also had the crown in this year’s Miss Hispanoamericana.
Winwyn is the first Pinay to join the pageant.
Thus, Pia and Megan expressed their gladness because of these victories.
On the Twitter account of Pia is where she stated, “Everyday may crown ang Philippines! Congratulations!!”
And Megan Young, on her account on the same social media site, indicated, “Waking up to the Philippines winning a crown always makes my heart happy. Congratulations ladies!”
