Kim Chiu Refused To Be Labeled as the New “Horror Queen”
KIM CHIU – Young Kapamilya actress and The Ghost Bride star Kim Chiu refused to be tagged as the “New Horror Queen”.
Kim Chiu is undeniably one of the finest and the most excellent stars of her generation. The former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemate has already starred several television series and done several projects excellently.
Currently, she is one of the main casts of ABS-CBN’s Ikaw Lang ang Iibigin together with actor Gerald Anderson who was also her on-screen partner in several projects including films Paano Na Kaya and Till My Heartaches End.
Based on a recent report in Philippines’ Ultimate Showbiz Hub (PUSH), Kim Chiu has also done horror movies. On 2008, she is a cast of the Shake Rattle and Roll X called “Plot”.
Recently, together with actors Matteo Guidicelli and Christian Bables and actresses Ina Raymundo, and Alice Dixson, Kim Chiu starred horror film The Ghost Bride under the direction of director Chito Roño.
Meanwhile, according to the report, Kim declined to be called as the “New Horror Queen” even after doing several horror movies. The Queen of All Media Kris Aquino who is not anymore under ABS-CBN network is known as the ‘Queen of Horror Movies’.
According to Kim, there are still lots of things that she has to learn about the craft. At the digital conference of The Ghost Bride, the young actress said that Kris Aquino is different and she is also different.
“Siya talaga is really the horror queen by Direk Chito,” she said based on the report.
The Ikaw Lang ang Iibigin star expressed that she is thankful to be given a big film and to be trusted to do it. The young actress also shared about her close ties with actress-host Kris Aquino.
According to Kim Chiu, Kris told her that she would watch her movie and she would be there in the premiere night if her schedule permits. The young actress said Kris is really supportive.
