A man identified as Gilbert Sanchez of Agusan del Sur was rescued by the authorities after living in a coconut tree for almost three years.
Recently, the official Facebook page of “NEWS5” has uploaded the video of the authorities rescuing a man from La Paz in Agusan del Sur living in a coconut tree for almost three years.
The man was identified as Gilbert Sanchez who started to reside in the coconut tree after his head has been struck by a gun during their confrontation.
In the video, it can be seen that the rescuers were preparing the equipment in conducting the rescue operation after the man refused to agree on their negotiation.
The reporters and some residents in the area were also watching the rescue operation. Eventually, the authorities were able to cut the tree and safely rescued the latter.
