ELLA CRUZ -Young actress and sensational dancer, Ella Cruz, was criticized by the netizens because of her controversial comment about depression.
Truly, the topic about depression has been really very sensitive since then most especially in the current times.
It was after the veteran host and comedian Joey de Leon expressed his stand that depression is just “gawa-gawa lang.”
According to a previous report, the comedian stated, “Yung depression, gawa-gawa lang ng mga tao ‘yan. Gawa lang nila sa sarili nila.”
There were several celebrities have opposed this stand of the Kapuso veteran host such as Maine Mendoza who stated that depression is no joke especially to the youth who are suffering it.
This was then agreed by Alden Richards to which he added that people at such cases need “moral support.”
Other artists who took the social media to bravely expressed their opinion are Iza Calzado, Jake Ejercito, Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Mariel de Leon, Bela Padilla, Khalil Ramos, Bianca Gonzalez, Jodi Sta. Maria, IC Mendoza, and among others.
And now another controversial comment has surfaced about this sensitive issue.
It has come from Ella Cruz as it has been obtained from her Twitter account.
However, as of this moment, the post has been deleted but the status stated, “Some people think that they are depressed. You’re not. And that’s what making you feel depressed. Stop.”
Thus, this has ignited various reactions from the people of the social media community.
From @hellamerencilla, she stated, “Ella Cruz thinks that she’s right. She’s not. And that’s what makes her tweet a piece of shi*t. Stop.”
Another from a certain @anniewydk, “stop justifying your tweet na. you should’ve just advised people to seek professional help” and she further added, “instead of invalidating their feeling.”
