Senator and boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao has issued a statement over his controversial comment on the Instagram livestream of a certain Arzaylea Rodriguez.
The 38-year-old politician claimed that he was the one who commented on Arzaylea’s livestream.
According to him, there was no malice in his comment on the latter’s video.
His comment made a buzz online, with some followers of Arzaylea taking a screen capture of his comment.

Meanwhile, in an interview with Inquirer.net and other members of the press, Manny Pacquiao detailed his conversation with the Rodriguez.
“Ako ‘yan. Actually pag-open ko ng Instagram nakita ko live so pinindot ko. Nakita niya Manny Pacquiao joined live so nag-hello siya,”

In his interview, the boxing superstar explained that it was the 22-year-old teen who first asked him a question when the senator joined the Rodriguez’s livestream.
Manny Pacquiao said that a portion of their conversation was not captured in the screenshot which became viral on the internet.
“Tapos tinanong niya ako ‘Are you in the Philippines?’ Kaya sabi ko ‘Where are you from?’” the Filipino boxing icon said.
“Lahat naman pwedeng makipagusap sa amin wala namang malisya doon ,” Pacquiao noted.
