September 21 Protesters From Visayas And Mindanao Arrives In Ports Of Manila

The alleged September 21 protesters from Visayas and Mindanao have already arrived in the ports of Manila and Batangas, tired and hungry.

On Tuesday (September 19, 2017), the alleged protesters onboard the ships chartered by the “Yellow Group” have arrived in ports of Manila to attend the rally for the 45th anniversary of Martial Law on Thursday (September 21, 2017).

The rallyists who arrived ahead of the protest may suffer hunger as well as they have no place to stay before the actual rally. Local organizers explained that there was a communication problem with the shipping company wherein protesters supposed to arrive on Wednesday evening (September 20, 2017).

The organizer also said that they have no place yet to accommodate the protesters and they don’t even have buses to fetch the activists.

“Malaking problema po ito dahil hindi namain napaghandaan ang pag-bago ng schedule. Dapat kasi bukas pa sila ng hapon or ng gabi darating para rally na agad kinabukasan. Ang malaking problema po namin ngayon ay kung saan sila patutuluyin mula ngayon hanggang sa Sept. 21. We really didn’t expect this to happen. Wala rin kaming bus na mag-hakot sa kanila mula dito sa pier papunta sa Maynila, at di namin alam kung ano ang gagawin namin sa kanila pag-dating dun”, said by the organizer quoted by Pinoy Observer.

Some of the alleged rallyists are already complaining of being tired and hungry as they were still waiting at Manila and Batangas Port. They have even no money to buy food until the day of protest.

Protesters

As of now, there was still no details why those people were convinced to join the September 21 protest.
