SUNSHINE CRUZ – The beautiful Kapamilya actress Sunshine Cruz shares her hardship of being both a mother and a father to her three daughters.
Ever since the separation of the married celebrity couple Sunshine Cruz and Cesar Montano, the custody of their three children, specifically, daughters, fell under the care of the actress.
Their daughters are Angelina Isabelle, Samantha Angeline, and Angel Francheska.
And in a report from the Philippines’ Ultimate Showbiz Hub (Push), Sunshine shares that being a single parent, she does all her best to keep a close relationship with her daughters.
But she also confessed how hard it was for her to be a mother and a father all at the same to her children.
The Wildflower actress shared, “May bonding time kami. May kulitan time kami. Pero when it comes to pag kailangan ko maging strict I talk to them and they know how to listen. Automatic na yan eh. Kasi sabi ko, ‘Anak please lang, it’s not easy to be a mother and a father at the same time.’ And what I am doing is not for me. I’m 40 years old pa, pabalik na ako kayo papunta pa lang. So kung ano ang ina-advise ko is not for me pero para sa kabutihan ninyo and sino ba namang magulang ang gusto na hindi maganda ang mangyari sa mga anak.”
She also revealed, not that she was putting her former husband’s name in bad light, that she was hoping that he will exert more effort when it comes to their children.
Sunshine said,“Hindi naman nila hinahanap eh. I’m so sorry ha, hindi sa nilalayo ko sila. Puwedeng puwede nila makita, tawagan, makasama yung ex ko any time. But I just hope also that there will also be an effort from the father. Yun lang naman ang hiling ko. Sino ba naman ang nanay na may ayaw na may relasyon ang tatay sa mga anak?”
