Carla Abellana calls out the local government of Bohol.
CARLA ABELLANA – Kapuso actress and animal advocate Carla Abellana calls out for the attention of the local government of Bohol on their way on how to treat stray dogs.
As the Kapuso actress rants over the issue of how the animals were allegedly treated, she took the social media to express it knowing how broad the social media’s connection is.
On her Instagram account is where she posted and shared what she felt towards the sensitive issue with the animals as one of the advocates.
The post has been entailed with a written caption that told, “ATTENTION LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNITS OF BOHOL (Yes, lahat po ng local government units sa Bohol at hindi lang po sa Pitogo), especially Mayor Fernando Estavilla and Municipal Agriculture Officer Fely Boyles- AGAIN, leaving stray dogs and cats inside tight cages outdoors until THEY STARVE TO DEATH IS NOT a form of Euthanasia. Therefore, it is cruel, inhumane, and ILLEGAL.

Hindi na po kayo natuto sa kagagawan ng isa pang LGU diyan sa sementeryo sa Bohol noong mga nakaraang taon bago ang isang international triathlon diyan. Aba, nakakahiya naman po na naulit NANAMAN itong gawaing to. At mas nakakahiya po na kayo pa mismong mga taga gobyerno ang gumagawa nito. And you expect your citizens to be law-abiding? Hindi naman yata tama at patas yun, mga ginang at ginoo.
Kami pong mga animal welfare advocates ay PALAGING nakabantay sa inyo dahil dito. Ilang taon na po. Hindi po namin ito palalampasin hangga’t hindi po kayo natututo. Along with the caption is a photo with enclosed notice to which a portion said, “NO IMPOUNDED DOG SHALL BE LEFT UNDER THE SUN AND RAIN WITHOUT WATER AND FOOD WHILE WAITING FOR THEIR OWERS TO CLAIM THEM. THIS CLEARLY SHOWS CRUELTY AND NEGLIGENCE. PUBLIC HEALTH AND SANITATION ARE ALSO CLEARLY IN QUESTION.”
