The law enforcers stayed for about 15 to 20 minutes in the compound and found six cars inside Mabilog’s vicinity. After a few moment, JV Mabilog, the Mayor’s brother told them that only three vehicles were owned by Jed and his wife Marivic.

JV has also expressed his fear for the safety of their family, citing the raid at the home of the Parojinogs in Ozamiz City, which killed Mayor Reynaldo Parojinog, his wife Susan, and other suspects.

“For us here, we’re a simple family who serves the public and the people of Iloilo City. We are inexperienced when it comes to this and of course, we are saddened that despite what we do, there’s something like that happening,” said by JV quoted by Philstar.
