Malacañang Palace Declares Sept.1 As Regular Holiday In Observance Of “Eid’l Adha”

Malacañang Palace has declared the “Eid’l Adha” or the Feast of Sacrifice on September 01, 2017 as a regular holiday in observance of Muslim festival.

Most of the Filipinos love vacations and holidays, especially for the students and employees. It is the only time where they can spend more time with their families an rest longer during their leisure time.

Recently, Malacañang Palace declares September 1 as a regular holiday as signed by President Rodrigo Duterte. September 01, 2017 will become a regular holiday in observance of the Muslim festival Eid’l Adha or the Feast of Sacrifice.

Regular Holiday

The holiday is effective throughout the entire country, according to the Proclamation No. 297. Of the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF).

The Commission was recommending the companies throughout the entire Philippines to observe this occasion based on the Islamic Calendar.

Islam has two major feasts such as “Eid’l Fitr” and “Eid’l Adha”. As a respect to their religion, the Philippine government was acknowledging their major activities and feasts.

Regular Holiday

Eid’l Adha is the second of two Muslim holidays, which was celebrated not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world every year.
