Filipino Boxer Manny Pacquiao Believes Mayweather Could Beat McGregor In Boring Showdown
The Filipino boxing icon Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao believes that the 40-year-old Floyd Mayweather Jr. could beat MMA fighter, Conor McGregor.
The upcoming match between the undefeated boxing champion Floyd Mayweather and mixed martial artist Conor McGregor is one of the most anticipated match this year. The match between the two fighters was dubbed as the most widely distributed pay per view in the sport’s history.
Conor McGregor was claiming that he could knock out the 40-year-old boxer and think that he can’t even last up to two rounds. But Mayweather was still confident that he can still handle the latter after rising up from his retirement two years ago.
Recently, Senator Manny Pacquiao said in an interview that he believes that his former rival could have the victory in a boring and full of running around the ring.
“Medyo boring ‘yan, pero mananalo si Mayweather. Boring kasi magtatatakbo silang dalawa,” said by Pacquiao quoted by GMA.
In May 2015, the Pinoy boxer lost to Mayweather via unanimous decision, which was dubbed as the “Fight of the Century.” Sports fanatics and boxing fans were quite disappointed with the result of the ultimate match.
The Mayweather-McGregor match was scheduled on Sunday (August 27, 2017 – Manila Time), which will be held at T-Mobile Area in Las Vegas, Nevada.
