Sta. Lucia High School Students Rushed To Hospital Due To Food Poisoning After Drinking Choco Shake

Some of the high school students in Novaliches, Quezon City were rushed to hospital after suffering from food poising due to drinking choco shake.

On early Saturday morning (August 19, 2017), some patients who were discharged from Bernardino General Hospital (BGH) said that began vomiting after drinking the choco shake from the canteen of Sta. Lucia High School.

According to some reports, around 100 students from Sta. Lucia High School experienced the symptoms of food poisoning prompting them to be rushed to different hospitals in Novaliches in Quezon City.

On Friday (August 18, 2017) around 3 pm, some victims of the food poisoning incident were rushed to the hospitals after they have felt nauseous, stomach-ache and started vomiting.

On Friday midnight up to early Saturday morning, around 10 students of Sta. Lucia High School who were confined to BGH were discharged. One of them said that the choco shake smells like a soap.

BGH official did not yet release any statement regarding the possible cause food poisoning experienced by the students.
