SHARON CUNETA – The Megastar and The Voice Teens coach Sharon Cuneta apologized to the grand finalist of her team, Jeremy Glinoga.
Last Sunday was the day where the Philippines marked the day as they hailed the first ever grand champion of The Voice Teens, the first ever edition for that matter.
However, during the grand finals, there was a part where the contestant will have to sing a song a song together with their respective coaches.
And Sharon, together with Jeremy, her grand finalist, sang together the classic love song I’ll Never Love This Way Again.
Because of this, the Megastarhave not escaped some of the judgments from the people of the online community because of their performance.
On the video uploaded by the YouTube channel The Voice Teens Philippines, they graced the stage together and sang the song.
And one of the comments from a netizen told, “Realtalk: Hindi nagblend yung duet nila. I’m not a basher of coach Sharon, but she really ruined this performance.”
Another said, “The first time I heard this duet I felt that there was something wrong with their blending, but it was a good performance nonetheless bearing in mind that Sharon has throat issue – check her social media post. But for all the people saying that Sharon ruined the performance because she was off key need to listen again and pay attention to them separately.”
Coach Lea’s comment on their performance even stated, “That was lovely. That was pleasant. I just don’t know that it was enough of a smack in the face for grand finals, though. But the night is long. Marami pang rounds ‘to. Hanggang bukas pa so tingnan natin kung ano ang nagyari. For me, it was lovely but I wanted more.”
And so, the megastar apologized to Jeremy, “First of all, sorry kahapon ah. Hindi ko alam kung sino ang ka-duet mo. Pero you’ve done well from the very beginning Jeremy.”
