Missile Interception System Successfully Tested By United States Following North Korea’s ICBM

The United States has successfully tested their missile interception system despite the nuclear threat of the North Korea.

On Sunday (July 30, 2017), the anti-missile system of the American Forces has been successfully tried despite the North Korea’s threat of a nuclear strike against the US mainland. The trial came after the communist country had launched their second intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBM).

The Terminal High Altitude Area Defense or known as THAAD system was used to launch a medium-range missile from a US Air Force C-17 aircraft, which flies over the Pacific.

The US Missile Defense Agency said that the THAAD unit in Alaska has detected, tracked, and intercepted the target. It was the 15th successful tests of THAAD in intercepting weapons.

On Saturday (July 29, 2017), South Korea said that it will speed up the launch of THAAD Battery in the area due to the latest nuclear test conducted by the North Korea.

Several parts of the THAAD defense system were already brought in South Korea under the administration of their new leader Moon Jae-In who suspend the program’s deployment last month due to the need of new environmental impact (–foul word(s) removed–)sment.
