Here is the heartbreaking story of Philippines’ tallest man, Raul Dillo.
RAUL DILLO – The heartbreaking life story of one of the Philippines’ tallest men famous for his creepy roles, Raul Dillo, finally unveiled.
Surely, Raul Dillo is very iconic because of his creepy roles on numerous films.
Standing 7 feet and 3 inches above the ground, he seems to reach everything that a normal Filipino height could not.
However, despite the length of his height, he has this one thing that he had not reached ever since, and that is his dream to be with his mother whom he hasn’t seen for 37 long years.
Raul was featured on Kapuso Mo, Jessica Sojo and the video of his interview was uploaded and shared by the YouTube channel GMA Public Affairs.
Raul is from Milagros, Masbate and was just 6 years old then when his mother, Carolina Abayata Luna, left him and two of his siblings and took the other two with her.
And Raul never knew the truth and the reason behind why their own mother abandoned them.
However, their father died and their life became worse when they were sent in one of their uncles. Because of mistreatment, he sneaked away.
He was able to escape from his uncle and got a work but his fate with his employers is just as worse as his life with his uncle and so he sneaked away again.
Then, on the boat where he got himself to escape, he met an old couple who got a big heart to adopt him.
They took him to Surigao and growing up, his unusual growth dominated and because of his height, he became in demand in playing basketball and later on entered the show business playing roles such as giant, kapre, and among others.
And through the entertainment industry is where his sister Mila Dillo found him.
Her career though, in the industry was not stable. And currently, he is a caretaker of a certain resort in Laguna.
He also had his own family now.
But he will never cease from his pursuit of finding his mother.
The KMJS team then made a move and tried to search for his mother only to find out that their mother was already dead.
The information was then stretched to Raul and Mila and they were so broken-hearted.
Nevertheless, they were able to meet their sister on their mother’s side.
