Jake Zyrus shared about the preparation that she went through for her transition from Charice Pempengco.
JAKE ZYRUS – International singer Charice Pempengco before and now Jake Zyrus revealed the preparation that she has taken as she turned into ‘Jake Zyrus’.
The changing of the singer’s name has undeniably sparked numerous reports and elicited various reactions from people including those who are close to her. There are those who supported her decision while there are those who expressed disagreement to it.
The grandmother of the singer, Thess Pineda, has been very vocal with regards to her disappointment over the move of her singer granddaughter. According to her, she can’t tolerate her.
Pineda stressed that the singer was born as Charice Pempengco and will die as Charice Pempengco. She also said that the one that the people are looking for is Charice and not Jake Zyrus.
Meanwhile, there are also those who supported the move of Jake just like singer Aiza Seguerra who expressed that there is nothing wrong with it most especially if it can aid in setting herself free.
Based on a previous news report, Jake did not only changed her name but as well as removed her breasts. She is also currently taking testosterone shots.
Recently, the singer appeared in Magandang Buhay based on ABS-CBN Push. In the show, she shared the preparation that she has taken.
According to Jake, the preparation was more on with her expectation on the reaction of the people. She said that she really know who she really is and she really wants to do it.
The singer said that admitted that she prepared herself that there are those who won’t be happy with her decision.
“Expected ko naman din po na hindi naman ito picnic, hindi naman ito laging happy ending. Siyempre kung mayroong masaya mayroon ding hindi okay,” Jake said during the interview.
Meanwhile, according to the singer, the mixed responses from others balance her life.
As part of the recent processes taken, Jake now begins to experience changes with her voice, growth of facial hair, and changes in her body.
