Plans To Relieve The Tension In North Korea Proposed By China, Russia
Russia and China have already proposed plans to relieve the tension with North Korea who plans to launch intercontinental ballistic missile tests.
The Russian and Chinese foreign ministries have issued a joint statement proposing that North Korea should declare a moratorium on their missile tests, while the United States and South Korea must freeze military maneuvers.
The joint statement came after the discussion between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping. North Korea’s launch of intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) was one of the factors prompted the two countries to set proposals.
Beijing and Moscow forces are not required anymore if the US and South Korea will refrain from large-scale military exercises and North Korea will stop launching missile tests. Refraining from aggression could be beneficial for the two countries.
North Korea’s launched of their ICBM increases the tension on the Korean Peninsula and raises the concern of South Korea. It was the latest missile launched by the communist country as it aims to develop a missile that could reach the US mainland.
The missile launched by North Korea opposes by China as it violates the UN Security Council resolutions. The missile flew about 930 kilometers and landed about 300 kilometers into the Sea of Japan, which was confirmed by Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga.
US President Donald Trump also tweeted regarding the latest intercontinental ballistic missile launched by the communist country.
“Does this guy have anything better to do with his life? Hard to believe that South Korea and Japan will put up with this much longer. Perhaps China will put a heavy move on North Korea and end this nonsense once and for all,” said by Trump quoted by Philstar.
