2 Police Officers Who Physically Abused Civilians To Be Assigned In Mindanao
The two police officer who physically abused law violators are now facing administrative case and might be assigned in Mindanao.
Previously, the video of a policeman while physically abusing civilians goes viral in the social media, which garnered negative reactions from the netizens. The cop will face corresponding sanctions and penalties for his actions.
The incident started when the police officers arrested the civilians drinking outside of their home. The law violators were brought to the police station and asking the cop to issue a ticket for their violations.
The cop neglects their request and refused to issue a violation ticket, then he started to insult the law violators. The policeman suddenly struck the civilians with a wooden stick and he also threatened the violators that he will shoot them.
Recently, the Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Ronald “Bato” De la Rosa was very disappointed with what happened.
The abusive cop was identified as PO1 Jose Tandong, while his colleague PO1 Chito Enriquez who did not even stopped Tandong were now facing administrative case. The two policemen can be suspended or dismissed from their duty, but there are some reports that they will be assigned in Mindanao.

Tandong defended that the civilians were cussing and showing disgusting behavior, prompting him to hit the violators. He also admitted that he made mistakes and he is ready to take any sanction and penalties for his actions.

Enriquez also admitted his mistakes that he did not stop Tandong from mauling the violators. NCRPO Chief P/Dir. Oscar Albayalde also explained that Tandong has no valid reason to hurt the civilians whatever violations they have committed.
