Here is the reason why Direk Cathy Garcia-Molina backed out from La Luna Sangre.
CATHY GARCIA-MOLINA – The reason of the award-winning director backing out from La Luna Sangre has been finally revealed.
Cathy Garcia-Molina is a Filipino award-winning director who was able to do several movies that had been a hit to the public and audiences.
She is one of the major persons behind the successes of the ABS-CBN’s highly-rated television dramas such as “Lobo”, “Got to Believe”, “Forevermore”, “Dolce Amore” and “The Story of Us.”
And, she is directing recently the newest show of the Kapamilya network, the “La Luna Sangre” which starrs several prominent artista and that includes Angel Locsin, John Lloyd Cruz, Richard Gutierez, and of course the sought-after love team, KathNiel or Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.
La Luna Sangre is the third installation of the Moonstone trilogy to which prior to it is the “Lobo” and “Imortal”.
The airing of this new show started on June 19 and its pilot week had been the most-talked about all over the social and despite all the issues, it did not disappoint the people who were waiting for it.
And according to the news released by the ABS-CBN News, the said director will be leaving the show.
The reason why is revealed and that is because she will be directing a new movie under the Star Cinema and have to focus on it.
The new film she will be directing will starr Dingdong Dantes, Enrique Gil, Christine Reyes, and Aga Muhlach entitled “Seven Sundays”.
She will be replaced by Richard Arellano and GB Sampedro who directed one of KathNiel’s television series “Got To Believe”.
Accordingly to the report, she had expressed her regrets upon leaving the show but then she had to follow the orders or it is her “duty” to do and ‘adhere the decisions made by the higher-ups’.
