After Heartbreak & Cheating, Pokwang Says She’s Still Willing to Love Again
POKWANG – Despite a painful breakup and past betrayal, Pokwang proves that her heart remains open as she enters 2026 with faith, honesty, and hope for love.
Kapuso TV host-comedienne Pokwang remains happily single nearly five years after her separation from American actor Lee O’Brian, proving that life can still be fulfilling even without a romantic partner. As of 2026, Pokwang continues to focus on her career, her growing food business, and most importantly, her role as a devoted single working mom to their daughter, Malia.
Despite the challenges she faced in the past, Pokwang shared that she is currently enjoying her independence. Alongside her work in television and film, she takes pride in personally managing her business ventures while raising Malia on her own. Still, many fans are curious if the comedienne is ready to open her heart again and give love another chance.

During her guest appearance on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” Pokwang candidly reflected on how the previous year treated her, especially when it came to matters of the heart. “2025 is a roller coaster ride. Wow!” she said, adding that she felt unlucky in love throughout the year. She further admitted, “Pag-ibig pa rin. Wala pa rin. Wala pa ring kinabang,” emphasizing that romance remained absent from her life.
When asked by Boy Abunda if she had already given up on loving and dating again, Pokwang answered honestly. “Dati lagi kong sinasabi ‘yan. ‘Ayoko na, ayoko na.’ Pero sabi ko, parang ang unfair naman, ‘di ba? Hayaan na lang natin.” She then entrusted her love life to faith, saying, “So sabi ko ‘God, bahala ka na. Kung alam mong para sa akin at galing sa ‘yo, perfect ‘yun.”
Pokwang last had a relationship with her former live-in partner Lee O’Brian, whom she separated from in December 2021. Speaking about their breakup, she previously shared, “Oo naghiwalay kami pero marami akong binigay na chance. Marami akong signal na binigay sa kaniya na ‘please, ayusin mo naman ito para kay Malia.’” She also opened up about the emotional toll it took on her, saying, “Parang nawala na ‘yung respeto… Feeling ko hindi niya ako minahal talaga.”

While love may still be uncertain, Pokwang proudly shared that her food business is thriving. “Pero sa negosyo, in fairness, ang aking negosyo. In fairness, Tito Boy, beautiful problem ‘yung aking negosyo. Kasi wala na po ako maitinda kasi nasa sold out agad,” she said with pride.
For now, Pokwang proves that healing, faith, and success can coexist, whether love comes soon or later.
