YUL SERVO – What happened to the life of Yul Servo after he left the entertainment industry is really unexpected.
Yul Servo has risen to fame because of the notable roles he portrayed on several Indie films.
The actor was discovered by Director Maryo J. de los Reyes and going back to his career in the field of acting, his last appearance was on Magpakailanman.
As per the report of the The Philippine Star on 2009 on their article entitled Yul Servo at the crossroads, he grew up in Binondo and graduated in the Philippine College of Criminology and was set to become a police officer.
However, fate intervened.
To make the long story short, he met the director and that was the start of his career.
A career away from the course he had graduated from.
He went into theater and underwent extensive workshops to harness his skills in acting.
And now, after leaving the limelight and fame promised by the industry, he became a reluctant politician which is a big leap away from the course he concluded and the prior chosen career he took.
It ended up that the actor wanted to be a public servant just like his father as per his interview with The Manila Standard.
He stated, “I did it for my father. He was the one who’s into helping people, he used to be a Councilor. My father kept on urging me. So, I said that I’ll try it but I was a bit hesitant back then because I already had a good career as an actor. I was in movies and TV. My contribution as an actor was also recognized when a won a few acting awards.”
Seemingly, the actor is happy and satisfied with h s life despite the sacrifices he needs to compromise being a public servant.
