The “billion dollar” fight between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather is now halfway to reality.
BILLION DOLLAR – Conor McGregor has already signed the contract to have a fight with Floyd Mayweather.
According to the report of CNN News, the president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), Dana White, confirmed that McGregor has already signed the written agreement.
Conor McGregor is an Irish professional mixed martial artist and is currently the reigning champion on the UFC Lightweight.
While Floyd Mayweather is a former American boxer and presently works as a boxing promoter.
As mentioned on the report, Dana. said to the affiliate of CNN that the side of McGregor is done and the will be working on the side of Mayweather.
He even added, “I’m not saying the fight will happen but I got one side done. Now it’s time to work on the other. You know, if we can come to a deal with (adviser) Al Haymon and Mayweather, the fight’s gonna happen.”
However, question of the fans as to what will be the rules of the bout would coincide, as there were a lot concerned with the vast skills and experience of Mayweather in the field of boxing.
But the president of the UFC said that the regulation of the bout would be that of the sports boxing.
And McGregor have boldly claimed on January that a fight of him and Mayweather will be $1 billion.
For those who could remember, McGregor, as based on the report is ‘most recognizable face’ in UFC and the former boxer Mayweather have been both involved on war of word through the social media.
It due to the post of Mayweather on his Instagram account where the photo of McGregor was displayed as he was beaten up while the written caption is to whoever gets to give the best caption on the photo will be given $10,000.
As to the fight, McGregor stated, “It is an honor to sign this record-breaking deal alongside my partners Zuffa LLC, The Ultimate Fighting Championship and Paradigm Sports Management. The first, and most important, part of this historic contract has now officially been signed off on. Congratulations to all parties involved. We now await Al Haymon and his boxer’s signature in the coming days.”
