Baste Duterte will have his first TV show to be aired on TV5.
Baste Duterte, the youngest son of the president of the Republic of the Philippines, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, will now have his first ever show on screen.
According to the report of Inquirer Net, Baste will be featured in Lakbai, an “adventure-travel-reality” television show which has eight parts. The show will be aired on TV5.
The launching of the the show was held at Aracama in Bonifacio Global City of Taguig just this Wednesday.
He stated during the launching that he could ‘no longer resist’ it that is why he wanted to give the show business a try.
Baste even admitted that he did not gave the denizens hard time in persuading him to be a part of the show for his decision to join is final. And he could actually use the income he might get from the show.
And if his fate does not work out with show business, he could always come back to his life in Davao.
The TV Executive Mell Yazon-Tolentino said, “It took us several months of negotiations. There’s a close collaboration with Baste. You will see in this show a different side of him.”
The “Lakbai” is perfect for those who always itch to travel, hang out and go to different places. The show will provide its viewers a different side of the places in the Philippines. It would not jut showcase places but also good food with good company.
The show will last for eight weeks and Baste with hi company will put undiscovered places in the Philippines in a whole new light.
The presidential son and the social media rock star will be accompanied by Bogart the Explorer, Atty. Alexis Lumbatan, Sboi Malicay, and Andrei Apostol.
The show will have its first airing on May 21, Sunday only in TV5 after PBA.
