GASOLINE STATION – There are allegedly some gasoline boys who do certain techniques to make money aside from doing their official duties in the gasoline station.
One of the most frequent places that drivers usually go to is the gasoline station to keep their vehicles running. Do you know that even in that area drivers can get fooled too?
Recently, infograpix discussed about the certain techniques that some gasoline boys allegedly do to make more money aside from what they basically earn from the company their working at.

They clarified that their intention is public awareness as they received a tip that some gasoline boys have unusual strategies in victimizing the customers of the gasoline station.
The first modus discussed is called as ‘hang’. Based on the discussion, to execute the modus, the gasoline boy would just hang the nozzle on the pump but not in a way that it is perfectly placed on the rack thus it does not return the digits to zero.
It is stated that when the next customer arrives, the other gasoline boys would entertain the driver so he or she would not instantly look at the meter reader of the gas pump.
The gasoline boy then would put the nozzle of the gas pump in the vehicle’s gas tank. Based on the discussion, the driver would be paying for the gasoline that did not go to his or her gas tank.
It is stated in the discussion that in this modus, the cashier and the gasoline boys are involved and if they would be successful at victimizing 50 cars in a 12-hour duty gaining P500 at every transaction, they can raise up to P25,000 aside from the money that they can make during the night duty.
Drivers are really reminded to be aware of this modus to stay away from paying for a gas that did not go to your tank.
