Accordingly, to the report of the Definitely Filipino Buzz on their site, the man who caught the fish revealed the story.
Based on his statement as mentioned on the report, he was not aware that the fish he caught had gone viral in social media.
Zosimo Tano, the fisherman aging 41 years old he had already sold the fish for P180 per kilogram wich weighs 24 kgs.
He was amused by the fact that his caught went until to which he did not know until his friends told him so for he knew exactly how the tattoos of the fish were from.
So, the tattoos of the fish are from the shirt of the fisherman! As soon as he got the fish, he wrapped it around his shirt without knowing that the print could actually and eventually transfer to the skin of the fish.
And true enough, the imprint on his shirt and on the skin of the fish is the same, the reason why the print looked intricately done on the body of the animal.
Now, the mysterious intricate tattoos of the fish were solved and proven that the fish is not Maui from the animation Moana just like what netizens have concluded based on the previous report.
