MOCHA USON – Entertainer-turned-blogger Mocha Uson was recently given a post in the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO).
Recently, Mocha Uson was appointed to be a part of the PCOO. Based on a recent news report in Rappler, she was appointed as the assistant secretary for social media.
The position was really made for Mocha based on the report. According to the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), the assistant secretaries will be earning a monthly basic gross salary amounting to Php. 106, 454.
It is also stated in the news report that the assistant secretaries are entitled to a monthly representation and transportation allowance or more commonly known as RATA (Php. 10,000) according to 2017 General Appropriations Act (GAA).
Moreover, they are also entitled to monthly extraordinary and miscellaneous expenses (Php. 5,000) and PERA or personal economic relief allowance (Php. 2.000).
Based on the news report, Mocha, being the assistant secretary for social media, will earn monthly an amount that will not fall below Php. 123, 454.
Aside from her monthly salary, just like the other employees of the government, Mocha can also avail mid-year and year-end bonuses and an annual clothing allowance (Php. 5,000) and cash gift (Php. 5,000).
Mocha will not only earn a good salary monthly as the assistant secretary for social media. She can also greatly influence others.
Being the assistant secretary for social media, she would play a part in spreading the message of the government and as well as its efforts to the citizenry.
Based on the news report, Mocha, before she was appointed in the PCOO, was appointed as a member of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).
