MTRCB member Mocha Uson reacted on the issue that Lopez is a “dilawan”.
Mocha Uson, a member of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB), reacted on the allegation that former Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Secretary Gina Lopez is a supporter of the Liberal Party.
Based on a recent post on the Facebook page Mocha Uson Blog, Mocha does not believe that Lopez is a supporter of the LP.
“She MIGHT not be qualified according to CA pero I’m sure na hindi siya dilawan o trojan na tulad ng sinasabi ng iba,” she stated.
CA refers to the Commission on Appointments. Recently, the panel of CA has rejected the appointment of Lopez as the environment secretary.
Mocha stated that CA might have a reason for not confirming her appointment and she respects the members’ “knowledge and authority.”
The stand of Mocha came after a post entailing the alleged “story behind” the rejection of Lopez’s appointment surfaced on the social media.
Based on a previous news report, a netizen took to his social media account the alleged “story behind.” Based on the post, the issue revolves in politics and President Rodrigo Roa Duterte has made a choice not to backup Lopez.
The 72-year-old Chief Executive has previously been vocal about his support to the former DENR secretary.
According to the post, Lopez allegedly did not stop the mining operation of the Gutierrezs in Agusan. They were allegedly one of the giant contributors of Mar Roxas during the election campaign.
The post stated that there are those who claimed that the Lopezs and the Gutierrezs are close.
The allies of Pres. Duterte allegedly came to a unanimous decision not to support the confirmation of Lopez’s appointment as the DENR secretary.
