North Korea Constructs “Mysterious Artificial Island”

“Mysterious Artificial Island” Building By The North Korea

North Korea is now constructing a “mysterious artificial island” in the yellow sea as preparation for military installation.

Buildings, extra concrete areas, and wide road infrastructures have been built in a string of island near the Sohae satellite launching station, northwest of Pyongyang. The nuclear and intercontinental ballistic missile test has conducted in Sohae, earlier this year, but previously it has been used to launch satellite-bearing rockets.

Some of the construction work on the nearby islands are linked to the mainland by causeways, which might allow North Korea to install defensive anti-aircraft weaponry and launch missiles.

One of the researchers from Strategic Sentinel geospatial analysis company wrote in ‘The Diplomat’ saying that they have no enough evidence, therefore drawing definitive conclusions was difficult.

“An offensive ballistic missile deployment makes little sense, and the available pictures are missing some of the infrastructure indicative of one.

“An air defence deployment makes more sense, but there still isn’t enough evidence to support the presence of necessary infrastructure.

“A third option, that some of the structures pictured are missile silos, would make some logistical and strategic sense, and the surface-level infrastructure does look quite similar,” written in ‘The Diplomat’ quoted by MSN.

Ryan Baranklau, chief executive of Strategic Sentinel said that the communist country has observation area and VIP building for officials like Kim Jong-Un who likes to view operations and missile launch.

US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson announced that the United States was preparing new sanctions and penalties against the Pyongyang if they will pursue their nuclear and ballistic missile programs.

China was also warned by Trump administration to rein more than Pyongyang as a warning that the strategic patience is over. China, the only major ally of North Korea called on Korean parties to stop irritating each other.

US President Donald Trump also said that he is willing to meet the North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un and Tillerson, which is a sign that Washington was seeking diplomatic talks with Pyongyang.
