A netizen posted a photo of a police officer with street children and received praises for what he has done.
POLICE OFFICER – A photo had gone viral on social media where a police officer was captured with 10 street children in a fast-food restaurant.
According to the post of the Bombo Radyo Koronadal on their Facebook page, Police Senior Superintendent Franklin Alvero was not aware that someone would take a photo of him with the street children.
He did not even expected that it would hooked the attention of the people of the online community and would receive praises from it.
Police officer Alvero is also the Police Provincial Director of South Cotabato.
The photo shows that the police, still wearing their blue t-shirt uniform, was captured inside a fast-food chain eating together with the 10 street children.
As mentioned on the report, its has been a long time since he gave sympathy to the street children for he felt pity for them wandering along the streets without any food to eat.
Accordingly to the official during his interview with Bombo Radyo Koronadal, he is together with another police officer when they saw the kids.
He called out for them and asked about their parents and knowing that the children have not eaten yet, they took the children to the fast-food chain and gave them food.
The police officer even admitted that once these kids will be neglected from the possible vices of the society, they are going to be a dilemma of the community.
After the meal, he made the children promised to him that they will go home after.
However, Alvero does not mind about the praises regarded to him.
He even said, “Malasakit sa street children dapat isapuso upang masagip sila sa paggawa ng krimen.”
Absolutely, despite the issues of the police is going through to our country now-a-days, there are still officers who does something more than his job.
