The crowned Miss Intercontinental Philippines Katarina Rodriguez denies the reports of her allegedly ‘giving up’ the crown.
KATARINA RODRIGUEZ – The recently crowned Miss Intercontinental Philippines Katarina Rodriguez rebuts the reports that she is allegedly giving up the crown due to some residence complications.
According to the report of the The Philippine Star Entertainment, the Binibining Pilipinas Charities Incorporated stated that the beauty queen has “expressed that she may not accept the crown”.
And it was reported that her alleged resignation as with regards the matter of her residency.
However, as of May 2, the beauty queen posted on her Twitter account where she made a statement about the issue. She said, “I never made any announcements that i’m not accepting the crown?Is it alright if everyone refrains from making assumptions first.”
She even wrote another post where she stated,“Hi fam. Never made an announcement to anyone that I’m resigning the crown. It’s been two days since one of the most intense AND fun experiences of my life. I’ve been sleeping & talking to my family, friends & loved ones. Also wanted to say whatever decision I make in regards to ANYTHING I will always consider where my heart & mind lie simultaneously. There’s a lot of magic in honesty. Remember that.”

Due to the posts of the beauty queen, fans of her was relieved by the fact that she is not giving up her crown and they were actually saddened by the rumors that are spreading about their idol. Based on the comments, a fan was asking why would she give it up if she deserves it.
Katarina has represented the Davao and as mentioned on the report, she is a former finalist of the Cycle 2 of the Asia’s Next Top Model.
She took the Miss Intercontinental Philippines crown away, crowned by Jennifer Hammond on April 30. On the same pageant, according to the previous report, Rachel was hailed as the Miss Universe Philippines 2017.
