The Yakimix Ermita’s reply to customer who suffered food poisoning is unbelievable.
YAKIMIX ERMITA – A customer had complained to suffer Amoebiasis after eating at Yakimix Ermita and their reply is they were ‘sorry for the inconvenience.
A netizen was ‘fuming mad’ when she posted shared her experience after eating at the Yakimix Ermita’s. The netizen is Francheska Tiamson and she posted her ‘stressful experience’ in her Facebook account.
According to her post, she wasn’t suppose to share it because it stresses her out but did anyway to inform the people about it.
She narrated, it was Thursday, the 2nd of February when her and 2 of her friends decided to have lunch at one of the branch of Yakimix at Robinsons Ermita fro they were craving for Japanese cuisine.
Tiamson said, “…since it’s also a buffet I know mag eenjoy ako, so we take our seat and we started to get our rounds in all the food corners, thinking this would be a pretty good lunch, we got to grill some pork and beef strips, i grilled some fish tofu as well and bangus.”
(Since it’s also a buffet, I know I will enjoy it)
She said she had eaten sushi maki, sushi and a few slices of grilled pork slices. She admitted that she had eaten a lot more compared to her friends.
After feasting with the food, they roamed around the mall and after an hour, she felt that her stomach is not in good condition. She went home thinking that perhaps she was just tired and so full by the food she took.
At home, she went to the comfort room for numerous times to defecate. She felt uneasy and took Biogesic to help ease the pain but it didn’t.
The worst came when later that time, she suffered 40 degrees fever. She was rushed to the hospital and found out to have Amoebiasis.
She returned to the restaurant and presented them her copies of her medications and results and after two months, the Yakimix Ermita only replied that the lab results she presented is ‘not qualified as a food poison accordingly to their insurance’.
