Jeff Horn Constructing Game Plan That Might Beat Pacquiao

Jeff Horn To Shock Pacquiao With New Game Plan

The Australian boxer Jeff Horn and his trainer Glenn Rushton was constructing a game plan that might beat the Filipino boxing icon Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao.

Horn and his trainer said in an interview that they were studying the previous fight of the Filipino boxer, as preparation for their upcoming fight in July 2017. The Australian boxer is trying to figure out how to beat Pacman.

He also explained that Pacquiao gives him a chance to attack through the opening every time the Filipino boxing superstar throws punches. He revealed that he was studying Pacquiao’s fight against Juan Manuel Marquez last December 2012 and fights against Jessie Vargas last November 2016.

The Filipino boxer loses against “Dinamita” (Marquez), after receiving a picture-perfect counter right hand, which knocked him out and sent him face down on the ring. Manny regains the WBO welterweight strap by beating Vargas.

“I’ll move a lot more than Vargas and give Pacquiao different angles, the same way he did against Vargas. I’m hoping to catch him off-balance every time he lunges in,” said by Horn quoted by ABS-CBN.

Rushton said that Horn is a bigger, fresher, stronger, and younger version of the Filipino boxer. He also revealed that they were preparing a game plan that could possibly shock and beat Pacman.

The trainer said that Horn can change the tempo, angles, and even break the rhythm of his opponent. He also said that Horn is a very heavy puncher that could shock Pacquiao.

Rushton did not predict that Horn will win because both fighters were aggressive and unpredictable. He also said that he could not guarantee that the upcoming Pacquiao-Horn match will be a thrilling fight.

The Pacquiao-Horn encounter will be on July 02, 2017 at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane.
