Pres. Rody Duterte mentioned his youngest son Baste Duterte during a speech.
RODY DUTERTE – Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte mentioned his son Sebastian ‘Baste’ Duterte during a speech in Lusail City, Qatar.
Recently, Politiko TV Channel posted on YouTube a video showing Pres. Duterte speaking in front of the crowd, mostly Filipinos, in Lusail City, Qatar.
In the said video, the 72-year-old Chief Executive could be heard talking about his youngest son, Baste. According to him, Baste does not do anything but look for women.
“May isa akong anak na lalaki. Wala namang ginawa kundi maghanap ng babae,” said the President.
The statement of Pres. Duterte draw laughter from the audience. According to the President, his son is mad at him. He said that he told Baste whom he addressed on his real name, ‘Sebastian,’ to go home.
The President further said that Baste possibly got mad at him for he told him that he has a child but he does not go home to the kid. He told Baste that his child does not anymore know him.
According to Pres. Duterte, Baste is frequently posing with other actresses.
Based on a news report, the Chief Executive, in a previous speech, has also talked about Baste and Ellen Adarna who was linked to his youngest son that time. Adarna’s the previous rumored girlfriend of Baste before headlines stating about their ‘final breakup’ broke in.
According to the report, the President, in the midst of a speech, shared a glimpse of his family life. He said that his youngest son does not anymore go home and is always with Ellen.
Baste is the youngest son of Pres. Duterte with his first wife, Elizabeth Zimmerman. The other two children of the President with Elizabeth are Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio and Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte.
Undeniably, lots of girls admire the President’s youngest son.
According to the President, it is a ‘tragedy’ when his grandchild would respond to him that he only loves his mother after asking if he loves his parents.
Pres. Duterte said that his relationship with Baste reminds him of his relationship with his father, the late Governor Vicente Duterte. According to him, the late Governor Duterte passed away without expectations that his son will soon become a prosecutor.
The President said that he was “just a law student” during the time that his father died.
