Dodge Challenger SRT Demon Is Not Your Ordinary Car

Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, a Limited Edition, is not Anyone’s Ordinary Car in Its 840 Horsepower

Dodge Challenger SRT Demon is designed as a one-seat muscle car with a 840-Horsepower 6.2-Liter Supercharged V8 engine.

The Demon is the ‘most powerful’ muscle car produced by a factory and it bears an excellent V8 engine.

According to the report of CNN Money, the Demon has been recorded as the fastest quarter run mile as to which it only took 9.65 seconds to make a drag strip from a dead stop and is officially certified by the National Hot Rod Association, the largest auto-racing organization in the world.

A standardized Demon, as stated above, has no passenger’s seat. Engineers who have created it has saved at least 113 pounds by doing so and another 24 pounds when the amplifier’s out which increased the car’s speed along with minimizing the car’s seat.

However, it depends on the buyer if he wants to have it with a passenger’s seat or an amplifier or even both. The Demon, although that it is a car specially made for drag racing, can be legally driven along public roads and highways.

According to the report, the Demon is the first ever to lift the front its wheels off the ground despite the hard acceleration that it can actually reach the height of 3-feet and is able to strike 60 mph in just a matter of 2.3 seconds.

It is the first ever car to have a Drag Mode but it is so fast that it is actually banned in drag racing competitions.

As mentioned in the report, even Tim Kuniskis, head of Fiat Chrysler’s NAFTA Passenger Cars, stated that the demon is really fast when it ran right off he showroom.

Based on the report, only 3,300 Demons is to be built – 3000 models for the United States and 300 models for Canada. The production will start late this summer.
