‘Marilou Batucan’ To Husband’s Killers: ‘You, Too, Will Die’
A Woman named ‘Marilou Batucan’ outraged and uttered “You, too, will die” to her husband’s killer, which was linked to stray bullet death of their child.
Marilou, 50-year-old was the widow of Wilson who was murdered last Tuesday (March 28, 2017). Her husband was killed 3 months after their son, San Nino died a stray bullet in a shootout during the antidrug operation of the police in Consolacion Town.
Wilson has shot dead about 15 meters away from their house in the village of Cansaga, La Consolacion town when he was about to park his motorcycle. He suffered gunshots to his head and chest, which caused his death.
The widow said that she was unlucky for losing her son a few months ago and now her husband was murdered. San Nino was hit by a stray bullet fired by men wearing bonnet mask upon chasing a drug suspect last December 03, 2016).
Marilou said that her husband told her he knew who are the responsible for the death of their son, but he refused to name them. Wilson believes that the unidentified gunmen were policemen.
The masked motorcycle-riding man offered Wilson a huge amount of cash in exchange for not pursuing the probe on his son’s death, according to Marilou. But, Wilson refused to accept the money and told the unidentified men not to worry for they had not filed any complaints about his son’s death.
“My husband was told to just accept the money and that he just had to sign something. My husband refused. He told the man not to worry because we had not filed any case regarding our son’s death,” said by Marilou quoted by Inquirer.
She was also hoping that her husband’s killer will be bothered by his conscience and the money they receive to perform the crime can be easily spent, but they will die too.
“Were you paid P20, 000 to kill my husband? The amount is easy to spend. You, too, will die,” Marilou said.
