Alleged Drunk Passenger Shot Bus Conductor Christopher Baynosa In Negros Occidental

A bus conductor named Christopher Baynosa from Ceres Bus Company was shot dead by an alleged drunk passenger in Negros Occidental.

A conductor of a Ceres Bus died after suffering gunshots from one of the bus passengers. The shootout happened around 9:45 pm on Friday (March 31, 2017) in between of Brgy. Zone 2 and Brgy. Zone 4 in Talisay City.

The victim was identified as Christopher Baynosa, who’s already in the legal age and resident of Toboso, Negros Occidental. Baynosa was working as a bus conductor in Ceres Bus Company.

The bus came from the municipality of San Carlos going to Bacolod City. The bus was loaded with passengers while traveling on their way to Bacolod City until an alleged drunk passenger from Brgy. Guinhalaran, Silay City went inside the bus.

Talisay PNP Superintendent Adonis Rosales really believe that the suspect from Silay City was under the influence of alcohol. Rosales also said that the bus conductor rebuked the suspect for being rude to its fellow passengers.

The initial investigation of the authorities shows that the victim and the suspect until it ended up in an altercation. The suspect suddenly pulled an alleged 38 caliber revolver and shot the conductor.

Baynosa suffered gunshots in forehead and neck, then he was immediately brought to the Talisay City Health, but the health personnel declared that the conductor was dead on arrival.

The other passengers have jumped on the bus window and there were no other casualties reported regarding the incident. The authorities were still investigating and conducting the hot pursuit operation against the suspect.

The suspect was not yet identified, but the authorities were already doing their best to chase the heartless gunman.
